HBM PEATLAND CONSERVATION PROJECT

Project Overview

PT Hutani Berkah Mulia (HBM) is undertaking an ecosystem restoration project in Bayung Lencir Subdistrict, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, Indonesia, focusing on the rehabilitation of degraded peatland landscapes. Located in an ecologically important region, the project aims to restore the natural balance of peat ecosystems while contributing to environmental sustainability and community well-being.

Head of Technology & Platform

A technology and operations executive with 20+ years of experience, including leadership roles in digital platforms and system development. Experienced in building integrated monitoring ecosystems for nature-based projects.


Hanif Rahman Umamul Ula

Head of Planning & Performance

An Operations and coordination professional with strong experience in permitting and project preparation. Led securing of all key permits of PT Hutani Berkah Mulia through definitive approvals; coordinated PDD and RKUPH development; facilitated baseline

Dr. Asep F. Rachmat, S.Hut., MBA.

Head of Operations

A Forestry background with MBA and advanced training in sustainability and environmental management. Experience across forest concessions, planning systems, certification frameworks (FSC, IFCC), carbon project development, MRV processes, and environmental compliance. Spatial data, forest inventory, and monitoring systems expertise.
