HBM PEATLAND CONSERVATION PROJECT

Project Overview

PT Hutani Berkah Mulia (HBM) is undertaking an ecosystem restoration project in Bayung Lencir Subdistrict, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, Indonesia, focusing on the rehabilitation of degraded peatland landscapes. Located in an ecologically important region, the project aims to restore the natural balance of peat ecosystems while contributing to environmental sustainability and community well-being.

A technology and operations executive with 20+ years of experience, including leadership roles in digital platforms and system development. Experienced in building integrated monitoring ecosystems for nature-based projects.


Ir. Salim Jundan, M.Si.

Head of ESG & Community

A forestry professional with 25+ years of experience in large-scale forest landscape management, including peat ecosystems, community forestry, and multi-stakeholder coordination.


Hanif Rahman Umamul Ula

Head of Regulatory & Compliance

An operations and coordination-focused professional with strong experience in permitting, project preparation, and cross-functional coordination. Currently serving as COO of PT Hutani Berkah Mulia, with a central role in securing regulatory approvals and ensuring project readiness.

Dr. Asep F. Rachmat, S.Hut., MBA.

Head of Technical & Operation

A forestry professional with academic background in forestry and advanced training in management and sustainability. Possesses extensive experience in forest management, GIS, certification systems, and carbon-related project work.

Ramadani Apriantiarno, S.S.T., M.E.

Head of Finance & Control

A finance professional with a Master’s degree in Economics and experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting, leading financial governance and control across the project entity, including reporting, compliance, and administrative processes.
